Troop 344 Family Messaging — An SMS messaging service operated by Wes Barron for communication with registered troop families.

This service provides automated SMS messaging capabilities for Scouting-related communication between the operator and opted-in participants. Messages may include:

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates charged by your mobile carrier may apply to incoming SMS messages. The operator does not charge recipients for messages received. Please check with your mobile carrier for details regarding standard messaging and data rates that may apply to incoming text messages.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency is recurring — participants may receive multiple messages per month depending on troop activity and communication needs. There is no set maximum number of messages; however, message volume is typically low (average of 1–10 messages per month during the Scouting year).

5. Opt-In

By providing your phone number and checking the optional SMS consent box, you agree to receive automated text messages from Troop 344 Family Messaging sent by Wes Barron on behalf of Troop 344 at the phone number provided. Checking the box is voluntary and not required to complete registration. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

6. Opt-Out Instructions

To opt-out of receiving messages at any time, reply STOP to any message received.

To request help at any time, reply HELP to any message received.

All opt-out requests will be honored promptly. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from our service.

This service is operated in full compliance with applicable messaging regulations, CTIA guidelines, and carrier requirements, including Twilio A2P 10DLC requirements.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued participation in the messaging service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
